Mike Barefoot steps down as Baseball coach

Dr. Phillips' Mike Barefoot announced yesterday that he has elected to step down as head Baseball coach effective immediately. Assistant coach Mike Bradley has been named the new head coach of the Panthers.
Barefoot led the Baseball program for eight years, compiling a record of 119-102-3, including District Championships in 2005 and 2006 (advancing to the Elite Eight) and a Metro Conference title in 2004. He is the longest tenured Baseball coach in Panther history and is second on the all-time victory list behind Danny Allie (132).
